A rare, 23-year-old vintage barley shochu from Fukuoka's Beniotome Distillery. Aged since 2002 in a single French oak cask, half was lost to the "angels' share," concentrating its complexity. This maturation yields a magnificent amber color and a heavy body that rivals premium bourbons. Rich aromas of vanilla and almond lead to a long, elegant finish. Best served neat or on the rocks. An exceptional digestif, pairing beautifully with dark chocolate and nuts.
